MURALIDHARA G K
Muralidhar, having an experience of over three decades in chess, is a Chief Mentor and Adviser at BNCF. He has been mentoring and advising the BNCF since inception. He is playing a key role in designing and developing tailor made coaching materials and schedules and also helping Team BNCF in various technicalities of organizing Chess tournaments. He is the one who conceptualized the different tournament formats such as one day classical formats, Grand Prix series which took the Karnataka chess tournaments to a whole new levels. He constantly leverages various platforms of chess to discover new ways of coaching and organizing chess tournaments. He also mentors coaches to develop intermediate and advanced skills.
SACHIN
Sachin, has been playing chess over 18 years and have been coaching chess over 10 years in various academies and schools. As a player he has the distinction of securing Silver and Bronze medals in 50th and 51st National U-17 School Championships. Cool and composed trainer have been coaching BNCF students for the past 2 years. He is an IT engineer by profession with a top MNC in Bangalore. He is coaching beginners and intermediate level students both online and on premise.
NAMRATHA
Namratha, a passionate chess player, university champion and dynamic young coach at BNCF, known as “akka” (yes, that’s how, her cute little students call her) in younger chess fraternity. She loves to teach very young kids and help them to understand the chess game in their own fun and activity based approach.
She was coached and nurtured at BNCF to become university champion during her college days. She works with numbers in one of the Multi-national company.
MADHURYA
Madhurya, one of the Co-founder of BNCF and kids friendly chess coach, has been teaching chess since 2015. She also teaches chess in couple of international schools in Bangalore. She is loves to teach chess to younger age category and help children to build a strong foundation of chess. She also foresee tournament organizing activities. Her teaching group always include very tender aged kids of 4+. She is known for her great patience to make the tender age kids sit in front of chess board hours together. Apart from chess, she is also passionate about music and cooking and she makes wonderful chocolates as well for many occasions.
